Hello Gents,
Today , I'm here to talk about a common problem that everybody can face at least once in his life, but we don't necessarily take the right measures to solve it ...
The article will be 100% in english, I'm sorry but I can't post in 2 languages if nobody seems to be interested by the french one,(if you still want to read the article in the french version just hit the translate option
)
the article will be a bit of biography (just saying)
Last February, I had faced some personal real stuff matters coupled with the crappy situation in the country ( murders and so), a brazilian hair care treatment kit (Laura sim's brand) which did cause me a lot of iritation on my scalp, I had to put avocado oil for like week to calm it down), and finally a new changement in my diet routine , I became suddenly a huge fan of green tea to "detoxify" my body)
My hair became sensitive at a point that I decided to see a dermatologist to ask why my hair isn't growing that normally, okay I know that I'm way responsible for all what's happening to me , but when you seek an advice from a dermatologist, you ask mainly for answers and treatment, the guy did a diagnostic and told me that i'm suffering from a light anaemia, therfore he didn't prescribe me anything or even ask me to do a blood test to confirm that...the bastard >_<
One month later, the symptoms of anaemia became somehow severe, nausea, heart acceleration , I was even passing out from time to time, I never had anaemia before I thought it was just spring laziness that's it, but when I did a blood analysis, I was shocked to see that I was seriously lacking iron, it was somehow due to all the tea that I was drinking to "detoxify'" my body , it turned out to be an iron killer..
2 months later, I faced my first hair fall, when I was combing my hair, I can swear that I was loosing like 300 hair or more per shampoo, and that was a long period of stress, endless crying , anxiety, etc,
You should know that when you have anaemia, you can have some late consequences, and hair fall is one of them.since for my case, anaemia was cured a month after the beginning of the treatment...
I want to share my experience with you and give you some tips and the the do's and don't 's if u face hair fall..
Do's:
-Go to a dermatologist ( a woman in Tunisia coz here men dermatologists suck )
- Identify the cause, if its anaemia it should disappear with a proper routine, if its genetic the treatment is different...
-Stuck with what the doctor prescribes for a period of a month or 2
- do a short hair cut if your ends are already damaged, and no it will grow again , so the shorter it is, the better results you will have , even if you need to wait a lot to get it longer again..
- find some remedies on the net : yes natural receipes work... for my case, I used to combine a mixture of different ingredients : sage oil+rosemary oil+castor oil, from time to time use onion juice, ok the smell is not good, but it works !!!!
-stay calm and breathe
Don't s:
-start to freak out like a mental as I did , simply because stress and anxiety might even cause more hair fall, the more you freak out, the more your hair falls
-the other case (ignore hair fall), actually if you have an androgenetic alopecia (the term used for hair fall in the medical field), or have someone in ur family who suffers already from hair fall it might be genetic
also thyroid might cause hair fall, that's why you should identify the cause first ...unless for benign seasonal hair fall (mostly in Autumn)..
- try to detingle and comb your hair while its still wet in the shower, because you should know that hair is fragile when its wet...
-Obviously avoid any kind of damage, heat and chemicals ( curlers,) keratin , yes yes coz keratin is like silicone, it doesn't cure the hair at all, its only a placebo effect that's it ..only oils and effective ingredients have benefits on hair..
What I used for my hair fall:
The doctor prescribed me :
*capilvit (Doppel Herz) , a german brand..
*Anastim (Ducray)
I took by my own
* Anti hair loss (Oenobiol)
* ANP40 ( Ecrinal)
apart of Capilvit which is useless becase it doesn't have effective ingredients which can really STOP hair fall, the other products are amazing, a special heart for oenbiol pills, which I find very efficient !!but sadly they're now discontinued from the market...
An updated routine will follow in the part 2 , otherwise it will be too much info for one article, and here we are , until the next article xoxo
